Kate Dabbs leads community engagement, donor relations, communications, and storytelling efforts for Abundance Capital. Her professional background spans nonprofit leadership, higher education, real estate, marketing, and agency leadership, with a focus on helping organizations make meaningful community impact.

A graduate of Furman University with a master’s degree from Clemson University, Kate is actively engaged in civic and philanthropic leadership, including service on the board of the Community Foundation of Greenville. Her work at Abundance Capital focuses on building community around philanthropy and helping donors connect more deeply with the people, ideas, and opportunities shaping the work.

Emily Murphy supports finance and operational systems for Abundance Capital, helping to steward donor funds and manage reporting, investment administration, and organizational processes with care.

Her background includes experience in development operations, financial planning support, fundraising systems, and nonprofit administration. Prior to joining Abundance Capital, Emily served in leadership roles supporting development operations at Furman University and has worked across philanthropy, finance, and nonprofit organizations throughout her career.

Emily holds a degree in Economics from Furman University and is actively involved in community and school leadership initiatives in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Carlton has spent more than 45 years advancing environmental stewardship and community development, including serving as the founding President & CEO of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities.

Former lawyer at USAID and White House Office of Management and Budget (2013-2017). Currently involved in leadership development, health and education policy, impact investing, technology, and international development.

Francie Heller is a longtime philanthropic and community leader with extensive experience advising families, foundations, and organizations around values-aligned giving, strategic philanthropy, and community engagement.

Craig Lundgren is a finance and business advisor with experience helping organizations navigate growth, strategy, and complex financial decisions. He operates a fractional CFO firm and serves as Director of Business Development for Next Meridian, a corporate advisory and investment banking firm. Craig also serves on the board of the Japan America Association of South Carolina.

Erin is a retired community leader with extensive experience supporting entrepreneurship and ecosystem development across the Upstate. Most recently, she served as the Upstate Entrepreneur Ecosystem Director for Ten at the Top.
