Catalytic Pooled Funds

Amplify your impact through collective giving.

Catalytic Pooled Funds bring together multiple donors to deploy capital at scale. Contribute alongside mission-aligned philanthropists to fund initiatives that require coordinated investment.

What Are Catalytic Pooled Funds?

Catalytic Pooled Funds are multi-donor investment vehicles that aggregate capital from multiple Abundance Angel Fund holders. Rather than deploying capital individually, donors contribute to a shared fund focused on a specific theme, sector, or geography.
These funds are often advised by nonprofit organizations, community foundations, or thematic expert groups—ensuring that deployment aligns with community needs and strategic priorities.
"As a donor, I like knowing my contribution can make a larger impact than anything I could do alone."
- Kate Dabbs

Lowcountry Impact Fund

Built on the belief that Angels invest and communities compound, the Lowcountry Impact Fund (LIF) turned its first pilot investment — a $1 million construction loan — into seven new affordable homes for North Charleston families in March 2026. LIF pools charitable capital from Angels and deploys it into local businesses, real estate, and nonprofits, shaping the future of the Lowcountry.
