Rather than asking adult learners to fit into a traditional higher education structure, College Unbound centers the student experience. Learners help drive their own education, building on the expertise they already have while working toward degree completion, career advancement, and broader opportunity. In June 2025, three Abundance Angels recommended an $85,000 loan to support College Unbound’s work with adult learners. The investment reflects the connection between education and economic mobility. By supporting a college model designed around adult degree completion, the capital helps strengthen pathways for learners seeking greater opportunity, career advancement, and long-term financial stability.
