The Harbor Entrepreneur Center is a nonprofit entrepreneur center in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, providing workspace, mentorship, and business support to help entrepreneurs launch, grow, and scale companies across the Lowcountry.

The Harbor Entrepreneur Center is one of the largest nonprofit entrepreneur centers in the Southeast, serving as a hub for innovation, small business development, and economic growth in the Lowcountry. Through affordable workspace, mentorship, educational programming, accelerator initiatives, and access to business resources, the Center helps entrepreneurs launch, grow, and sustain businesses that create jobs and strengthen local economies. The organization currently serves more than 130 resident companies, supports more than 1,000 jobs, and facilitates approximately 14,000 hours of mentoring annually through a network of more than 70 active mentors.

In July 2026, the Lowcountry Impact Fund recommended a $250,000 investment through Abundance Capital to support the Harbor Entrepreneur Center’s continued operations and programming during a period of growth and transition. The investment reflects the Fund’s inaugural formal deployment, supporting facility operations for the Center’s 60,000-square-foot entrepreneur campus, mentorship and programming initiatives, and working capital stabilization.

The Center’s broader network extends beyond its resident companies to more than 1,500 subcontractors and local vendors, generating an estimated $220 million in annual business activity and $65 million in annual payroll across the region.
