Modern Ritual is a teledermatology platform enabling primary care providers and pharmacies to connect patients with board-certified dermatologists for rapid review and early skin cancer detection.

Skin cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States, yet access to dermatology care remains limited in many communities. Long wait times and provider shortages can delay diagnosis and treatment, particularly for patients who lack easy access to specialists. Modern Ritual was created to help close that gap through teledermatology. The platform enabled primary care providers and pharmacies to capture images of suspicious skin lesions and connect patients with board-certified dermatologists for rapid review and triage. The goal was simple: make early detection and specialist expertise more accessible through the places where people already receive care.

In March 2023, an Abundance Angel recommended a $10,000 SAFE investment as part of a larger financing round led by VentureSouth. The capital supported platform development, clinical integration, and commercialization efforts as the company expanded its reach.
