In September 2023, an Abundance Angel recommended a $25,000 equity investment to support the film’s production, distribution, and impact campaign. The investment aligned with efforts to increase awareness of the structural barriers that affect access to capital and economic opportunity. Following its release, Show Her the Money reached audiences through a worldwide screening tour and the film festival circuit, earning multiple documentary awards and helping to bring conversations about entrepreneurship, investing, and access to funding to broader audiences. The project combined storytelling with education, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities facing founders seeking investment capital. The investment reflects the role storytelling can play in expanding public understanding of the systems that shape entrepreneurship, innovation, and access to wealth-building opportunities.
