Step by Step Ministry Hope Project provides housing, case management, and wraparound support for women returning home after incarceration, helping them rebuild stable lives and reconnect with their families.

For women returning home after incarceration, the barriers to rebuilding a stable life can be overwhelming. Safe housing, employment, transportation, family reunification, and community support are often interconnected challenges that make successful reentry difficult. Step by Step Ministry Hope Project was created to help women navigate that transition. The organization provides housing, case management, advocacy, leadership development, and wraparound support designed to help women rebuild their lives and reconnect with their families and communities. In June 2022, an Abundance Angel recommended a $100,000 Program-Related Investment to support the organization’s growth and housing efforts. The investment was part of a broader financing strategy that included CommunityWorks and the South Carolina Community Loan Fund. The investment supported an organization working to create safe housing, expand opportunities, and help women build a stronger future for themselves and their families.
